Too much to do..

Ahh! Why are there so many quizzes and mid terms? and I still have a research paper to complete which I have not even started writing on and it is due next week. Good luck to me.. Too many things to do.. too little time.. Just got back a mid term and quiz result.. haa.. lousy like anything.. and now, the most worrying is the research paper, I am still thinking of changing the topic. I seriously just need to pass and then I can go home.. And later, I have to bring Edmund out, and going to the War Memorial tomorrow and going to ski this weekend. Where to find time?? Quiz next monday and research paper draft due next wednesday.

I just hope the semester ends as quickly and possible. And just give me a C! I don’t really care about the grades. Just let me passss!

Edmund and Friends in Seoul

Got back from Gyeongju and it took us 2 hours longer to reach Seoul because bus tickets to Seoul were sold us. Therefore, we took a bus to the next nearest city and got back to Seoul by subway. Edmund and friends took the airport bus from Incheon Aiport and reached nearby school and we met at McDonalds. Elder brother couldn’t recognise him that when he turn to his back (where Edmund was) he ignored totally and turn to the front. Haha. They didn’t meet for 1 year+. And I almost couldn’t recognise Edmund too, because he was wearing specs which he seldom do. Haha.

Brought them to eat the Korean BBQ Meat and checked in to their small little rooms. They are happy 얘들 in Seoul.

Curry chicken

I cooked curry chicken today! And I think its a failure even though brother said that it tasted okay. I think its because he haven’t tasted curry chicken for a long time that he thinks that my curry chicken was okay! haha. I think i added too much water and that I used the powdery coconut milk instead of the one from the packet. Therefore, it became watery curry chicken. SAD!

I am so gonna cook that curry chicken again and this time I told my younger brother to bring packet coconut milk from sg. I am gonna cook tasty curry chicken in Korea before I go back to Singapore. Hee.

I just told my dad to change my flight so that I could be home earlier. Probably a few hours earlier than my current booking. I hope there’s seat

Off to 경주 (Gyeongju) and 안동 (Andong) tomorrow

떡볶이 타운

Went to the 떡볶이 타운 (Korean Fried Rice Cake Town) to eat 떡볶이, chicken feet. The 떡볶이 is different from the one that we always see on the streets of Korea, and the interesting thing is that.. It tasted like Mee Rebus! When I told brother about it, he tasted it again and he thinks so too. Haha. Mee Rebus in Korea! Yum Yum. We even tried the Cheese 떡볶이

Even though, it was really cold outside, we had snow ice at Red Mango after our dinner. Yum!

And I got back my Korean results today! I got A (96 marks)! and i got full marks for reading! (:

Ice formed on the Floor!!!

Today, I exercise for the first time while I’m in Korea. I played badminton with my classmates after class.. haa.. It was really cold even though we were playing in door..

While I was on the way back to the dormitory, I saw that leaking pipe again.. And this time, I saw ICE formed on the floor and one girl was trying to slide down from it. Interesting.. I like that leaking pipe!

Apgujeong Rodeo Street

Haa.. I got conned by the beautiful pictures and went to Apgujeong. Its such a quiet street, with nothing much. Even there’s something. You could find them all in Myeongdong. But I got my Adidas Puffed Jacket there, because my warmest jacket couldn’t protect me from the coldness anymore. Its getting really cold, with the wind comes.. Eeeks!

Watched 2010 today at Primus cinema. 2.5 hours show. Its a little exaggerating but at the same time a little thrilling. Will this happen to The Earth? I hope not…

Brother’s 26th Birthday

Its brother’s 26th birthday today! A whole lot of activities lined up for the day..

일차: Brunch at 서울대입구 (SNU Station)

이차: Baskin Robbins for ice cream fondue and ice cream cake

삼차: Ice skating at Lotte Skating Ring. Since a long time when I last skated. Skated clumsily.. HAHA.

사차: Fish market to buy alaskan crab, live octopus, fish, clams and scallops. The shop owner gave me a flower crab for free Brought the crabs to the 회십 where we get to eat what we bought. Sashimi, sashimi and more sashimi. The tentacles on the octopus are still moving and when you put it into mouth, it would actually suck your skin. So, the way to eat it is to put it into your mouth and bite it real quickly.. HAHA..

오차: Went to Sinchon to for Beer. Most people were knocked out at this stage. haha. I was clearly awake as I didn’t drink a lot, but I was tired.

Korean Final Exam!

Today is Korean Language Final Exam and guess what, I didn’t study, thinking that I have the whole day from morning till 6.30pm to study. But I went out to have lunch all the way till 5.45pm. Cooked lotus root soup at brother’s house together with his friends. Its close, but still, there is no 家的感觉。The lotus roots are too soft, and probably cos its not at home.. and technique is still not there yet. HAHA. I studied briefly and ate at the same time and managed to finish reading the whole textbook. Luckily, the exam was not as difficult as I had thought One module down which gives me Thursday – Sunday free!!

After the exam, went down to Sillim to get brother a birthday present! A little last minute, but cos of exams and exams and exams and not forgetting play play play..

빼빼로 day!

Its 빼빼로 day today! I think its just a advertising gimmick, which is very successful as everyone is giving their friends 빼빼로 on this day! and all the shops are selling 빼빼로 packed very nicely, in heart shape etc. Apparently, I was aware of this day.. But on the day itself, I forgot all about it and forgot to buy 빼빼로. HAHA. But, I got 3 빼빼로 that day. I went to catch soft toys today.. My first time trying it, as I see that my friends could catch them very easily and its not very expensive.. 6 tries for SGD1.20 I caught an ugly dog on my 5th try instead of the cow that I was aiming for. In the end, I got Bill to catch the cow for me
